The prophet of judgment and redemption, who saw the throne of God and foretold the Messiah.
From the year King Uzziah died to the promise of the suffering Servant,
Isaiah's words bridge the glory of the throne and the mercy of the cross.

"In the year that King Uzziah died,
He saw the Lord — high and lifted up.
The temple shook, the seraphim cried:
'Holy, holy, holy is the Lord of hosts;
The whole earth is full of His glory.'"
The throne was flame, the angels cried,
Smoke and glory filled the sky.
A burning coal, a broken man,
Sent to speak what none could stand.
He saw the Christ before the birth,
Despised and crushed upon the earth.
Rejected by the ones He loved,
Yet still the chosen Lamb above.
Holy, holy, holy Lord,
Isaiah saw and struck the chord.
Of coming fire and mercy wide,
A King to come, a Lamb to die.
The nations rage, the hearts grow cold,
But every word he wrote foretold.
From virgin womb to risen King,
Isaiah heard and dared to sing.
A Son is given, a child is born,
Upon His shoulders rests the storm.
Wonderful Counselor, mighty and just,
The hope of all who turn and trust.
Holy, holy, holy cry,
The prophet saw the Lord Most High.
He touched the flame and bore the call,
To name the Christ who saves us all.
"And I heard the voice of the Lord, saying,
'Whom shall I send, and who will go for Us?'
Then said I, 'Here am I; send me.'
And He said, 'Go.'"
Isaiah 6:1–3:
"In the year that king Uzziah died I saw also the Lord sitting upon a throne, high and lifted up, and his train filled the temple. Above it stood the seraphims... And one cried unto another, and said, Holy, holy, holy, is the LORD of hosts: the whole earth is full of his glory."
Isaiah 53:3–5:
"He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief... But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed."
Isaiah 9:6:
"For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace."
