"Return to Me, and I will return to you."
The final prophet before the silence. Malachi issues a closing call — to purify the priesthood and prepare the way of the Lord.
His voice fades into 400 years of waiting... until another voice cries out in the wilderness.

You rob Me...
You question Me...
You cry out, "Where is the God of justice?"
And yet — you trample My altar.
He shall sit as a refiner and purifier of silver,
He will cleanse the sons of Levi.
No more defiled offerings — no more deceit,
Only truth... brought in heat.
Behold, the day cometh...
That shall burn as an oven.
All the proud, yea, all that do wickedly...
Shall be stubble.
Will a man rob God?
Yes — in tithes and in offerings.
Return to Me... and I will return.
You have spoken hard words...
Yet I remember those who fear My name.
A book of remembrance
Is written before Me.
But unto you that fear My name
Shall the Sun of Righteousness arise —
With healing
In His wings.
You shall go forth,
Leaping like calves from the stall.
"Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet
Before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the Lord.
He shall turn the hearts of the fathers to the children,
And the hearts of the children to their fathers..."
"Lest I come...
And smite the earth,
with a curse."
Malachi 3:1–3:
"Behold, I will send my messenger, and he shall prepare the way before me... and he shall sit as a refiner and purifier of silver: and he shall purify the sons of Levi, and purge them as gold and silver, that they may offer unto the LORD an offering in righteousness."
Malachi 4:1–2:
"For, behold, the day cometh, that shall burn as an oven; and all the proud, yea, and all that do wickedly, shall be stubble... But unto you that fear my name shall the Sun of righteousness arise with healing in his wings; and ye shall go forth, and grow up as calves of the stall."
Malachi 4:5–6:
"Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the LORD: And he shall turn the heart of the fathers to the children, and the heart of the children to their fathers, lest I come and smite the earth with a curse."
