13. Micah: What Does the Lord Require? 4:28

"To do justly, love mercy, and walk humbly with your God."
A voice of justice and a vision of a ruler born in Bethlehem.
Micah's message reminds us that true worship is found in how we live and walk before the Almighty.

INTRO

"What shall I bring before the Lord...
Shall I come with burnt offerings?
Will He be pleased with rivers of oil...
Or the fruit of my body for the sin of my soul?"

VERSE 1

You ask what He requires of man,
Not sacrifice, not lifted hand.
Not songs alone or temple gold,
But justice carved in hearts grown bold.

To walk with mercy through the flame,
To lift the low, not seek your name.
To wear the yoke of love, not pride —
This is the path where God resides.

VERSE 2

O Bethlehem, too small to be
Among the clans of majesty.
From you shall rise the promised One,
Whose days are from the ancient sun.

He will not boast, He will not break,
But bear the weight for mercy's sake.
And every crown the world has made
Will fall before the child once laid.

BRIDGE

"He has shown you, O man, what is good...
And what does the Lord require of you...
But to do justly... to love mercy...
And to walk humbly... with your God."

VERSE 3

The high will fall, the low be raised,
The righteous paths no longer praised.
But those who walk beneath the flame
Will know the justice in His name.

OUTRO

To do justly...
Love mercy...
And walk humbly...
With your God.
