Watchers giving sword and taking wives
Image: A solemn depiction of Noah standing in reverent awe before the Lord, hand to chest, as the ark waits in the background beneath a storm-lit sky. The image captures the moment before the flood — a man of obedience surrounded by darkness, yet illuminated by divine calling. A portrait of faith before judgment, and mercy before the storm.

Verse 1

In the land of Canaan, where the sun shone bright,
A man named Noah heard from God one night.
"Noah, my child, the world's full of sin,
I'm sending a flood — it's time to begin."

Chorus

God's warning ringing in his ear,
"Noah, stand strong, and do not fear.
Build the ark with steady hand,
The flood is coming by My command."

Verse 2

Noah obeyed with a faithful heart,
He built the ark, set to do his part.
People mocked him, laughed out loud,
"There's not a cloud, no rain, no shroud!"

Chorus

God's warning ringing in his ear,
"Noah, stand strong, and do not fear.
Build the ark with steady hand,
The flood is coming by My command."

Bridge

Noah kept building, through mock and pain,
They called him mad — said he was insane.
But he believed in the Word so true,
And trusted the Lord in all he'd do.

Chorus

God's warning ringing in his ear,
"Noah, stand strong, and do not fear.
Build the ark with steady hand,
The flood is coming by My command."

Outro

And when the skies broke, and waters poured,
Noah was saved, protected by the Lord.
The world was washed, cleansed of sin,
And Noah knew he'd found favor within.

He watched the rain fall, day after day,
While the wicked below were swept away.
Then silence came, the winds grew still,
And Noah bowed to the Father's will.

The dove took flight, a branch in its beak,
A sign of peace the world would seek.
The ark came to rest on Ararat's face,
A symbol of hope, mercy, and grace.

The skies grew calm, the earth made new,
A promise was born in a rainbow's hue.
And Noah gave thanks, his heart full of praise,
To the God who saves through judgment's blaze.
