14. When Truth is Hidden 4:38

In the last days, truth is silenced, and the Word of God becomes rare.
A warning of spiritual famine and the world's rejection of righteousness.

Image: In the final days, a great number are taken from the earth, as truth is censored, faith outlawed, and deception proclaimed. The world calls it “alien abduction,” but the faithful know it as prophecy fulfilled. Inspired by 2 Esdras 5:1 and 1 Enoch 104:10 — "The way of truth shall be hidden… and sinners shall speak wicked words and write deceitful books."
INTRO

VERSE 1

Behold, the signs come swift and clear,
The earth will mourn, the end draws near.
The faithful rise, the wicked fall,
While lies deceive and blind them all.

The news will cry, "The aliens came,"
To steal the truth and shift the blame.
The sacred scrolls they set aflame,
They blot the Word, erase His Name.

PRE-CHORUS

The wise have flown, the fools remain,
No oil to light their lamps of shame.

CHORUS

When truth is lost and faith runs dry,
The broken weep, the nations cry.
The masses bow to gods of lies,
While angels mourn the darkened skies.
Yet from the ashes faith will rise,
To claim the crown, the holy prize.

VERSE 2

The fields are dead, the rivers dry,
The sun grows dark, the moon turns shy.
The heavens quake, the scrolls unfold,
The wrath of God shakes mighty souls.

The foolish plead outside the gate,
Too late to feast, too late to wait.
The faithful dine with God's own Son,
The wedding song has just begun.

BRIDGE 1

They burned the scrolls, they scorched the Word,
Yet deep inside, the truth is stirred.
The famine falls—not thirst, not bread—
But hunger for the words God said.

The few will seek through darkest skies,
And find His mercy when they cry.

BRIDGE 2

The sword of justice strikes the proud,
The righteous sing, the rebels bow.
Through broken lands the faithful build,
While death's cold fields with hope are filled.

SHORT CHORUS

When truth is lost and faith runs dry,
The broken weep, the nations cry.
Yet from the ashes faith will rise,
To claim the crown, the holy prize.

OUTRO

"Nevertheless, as coming the tokens..."
"Behold, the days shall come..."
"That they which dwell upon earth shall be taken in a great number..."
"And the way of truth shall be hidden..."
"And the land shall be barren of faith."

The few will seek through darkest skies,
And find His mercy when they cry.
