A call to arms from the heavens against darkness, echoing God's judgment,
Christ's victory, and the believer's empowerment.
A triumphant proclamation of death's defeat through Christ.

Darkness and despair.
God will punish the unjust.
His holy sword shall smite the wicked.
The angels shall devour the unrepentant.
Eternal death awaits all who do not turn to Christ.
Plagued by shadows,
Ravaged by war,
Corruption,
Deceit,
Sickness,
Pain.
Darkness has ruled,
Death has reigned.
Creation groans in agony —
But behold,
The Light has come.
The Kingdom of God has drawn near.
Repent,
For the end is near.
Death is swallowed up in victory.
Oh, darkness,
You think you have power.
Oh, darkness,
You think you have strength.
You think you have power over my soul?
Oh, darkness,
You are but a worm.
I am a child of the Living God.
He has not given me,
A spirit of fear,
But of power,
And love,
And a sound mind.
I will take back what is mine.
I will take back what is mine.
Death,
Where is your sting?
Grave,
Where is your victory?
Death,
Where is your sting?
Grave,
Where is your victory?
The old has passed away —
Behold,
The new has come.
Jesus Christ,
The Savior of the world...
He is risen!
He is risen!
He is risen!
He is risen!
Death is swallowed up in victory.
For God so loved the world
That He gave His only Son,
That whoever believes in Him
Should not perish,
But have eternal life.
For God did not send His Son
Into the world to condemn the world,
But in order that the word might be saved through Him,
Whoever believes in Him is not condemned.
But whoever does not believe is condemned already,
Because he has not believed
In the name of the only Son of God.
And this is the judgment:
The Light has come into the world,
And people loved the darkness rather than the Light,
Because their works were evil.
For everyone who does wicked things hates the Light,
And does not come to the Light,
Lest his works should be exposed.
But whoever does what is true comes to the Light,
So that it may be clearly seen
That his works have been carried out in God.
John 3:16–21 (KJV):
"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved... He that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest..."
2 Timothy 1:7 (KJV):
"For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind."
1 Corinthians 15:55–57 (KJV):
"O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?... But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ."
Revelation 21:4 (KJV):
"And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away."
