Zephoniel – Rise From the Ruins
Every Tear Will Be Wiped Away
TRACK #17
By Thomas J. Allen, © 2025
Image: Bathed in golden light, Christ gently embraces a weeping saint in a serene garden as redeemed souls gather behind them, entering the gates of the New Jerusalem. Angels look on with peace as sorrow melts away in the radiance of divine joy. No more tears remain, only comfort in the arms of the Lamb — a fulfillment of the promise that all things are made new and the former griefs are remembered no more.
Verse 1
The skies once burned, the world once wept,
But now the throne of God is set.
No pain remains, no sorrow's trace,
Just endless joy before His face.
The Lamb has come, the Bride is home —
No more to wander, no more alone.
Pre-Chorus
No more death, no final sigh,
No more questions, no more why.
Chorus
Every tear will be wiped away,
By the hands that broke the grave.
The former things — now gone, erased —
Forgotten in the light of grace.
We dwell with Him, in endless day,
Where tears and time have passed away.
Verse 2
He speaks, and all the old is lost —
The curse undone, the shadow tossed.
No memory of what came before,
Just Heaven's song and open doors.
A world reborn, forever pure —
A home that stands, secure, assured.
Bridge 1
No more curse, no night, no fear —
We see His face — He draws us near.
His name upon our hearts shall stay,
For He has called us home to stay.
"Where I am, there you will be,"
Forever with the King of Peace.
Bridge 2
From Sabbath to Sabbath, we come and bow —
From new moon to new moon — eternal now.
All flesh before His throne shall sing,
To Yah our God, our risen King.
