Zephoniel – Rise From the Ruins
The Saints Return
TRACK #14
By Thomas J. Allen, © 2025
Image: Christ descends in radiant glory, a sword in His hand and fire in His wake, leading an army of blazing white-robed saints and angels. The skies are torn open, and the golden brilliance of Heaven spills forth onto a dark and desolate land. Below, demons and fallen beings recoil in terror, shielding their faces from the light they once rejected. The ruined world shakes as justice rides down, and the condemned behold the return of the true King. This is not the Lamb — but the Lion of judgment. The saints return to reign.
Verse 1
The skies will rip, the mountains reel —
The King descends with sword and seal.
No longer Lamb, but Lion crowned —
The hosts of Heaven shake the ground.
They mocked the saints, they crushed the meek —
But now the vengeance they shall reap.
Pre-Chorus
The time has come, the heavens burn —
Behold the night... the saints return!
Chorus
The saints return — in robes of flame,
With righteous fire and Heaven's name.
No more chains, no more scorn —
Crowned with glory, battle-worn.
The saints return — their voices roar,
To reign with Christ forevermore.
Verse 2
Enoch spoke of this great flight —
Ten thousand clothed in blazing white.
With wrath they ride, with truth they stand,
To judge the beasts of every land.
The kingdoms fall, the proud shall kneel —
The saints arise, the scrolls unseal.
Bridge
They take the throne, they bear the mark —
From age to age, through light and dark.
They suffered long, they stood through pain —
Now they rise with Christ to reign.
Breakdown
"Behold... He comes... with ten thousand saints..."
"To execute judgment... to pierce the dark..."
"Their King returns... and hell shall break..."
Final Chorus
The saints return — no power withstands,
With justice burning in their hands.
The age of sorrow meets its end —
The saints descend... with Heaven's Friend.
Forever crowned, forever sure —
The saints return... to reign secure.
Outro
"The saints... of the Most High... shall take the Kingdom..."
"...and possess it... forever and ever..."

Jude 1:14 (KJV):

Revelation 19:11-16 (KJV):
"And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war. His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself. And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God. And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean. And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God. And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS."
Revelation 20:4 (KJV):
"And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years."
